With in excess of twenty years' experience of the industry, we here at Premier Boiler Services Limited are more than capable of taking care of your every heating requirement. Whether you're in need of:

As a firm we are also branching out into the fresh and exciting renewable energy market, with several members of staff dedicated to solar installations in domestic and commercial properties alike.

Power flush

Most central heating systems contain some magnetite sludge, many old systems contain excessive amounts. If you install a new boiler in a system containing excessive amounts of sludge it could be disturbed around the system and forced into your new boiler.

A Power Flush is the safe, clean and easy way to remove sludge from your central heating system.

If your system shows any of the following symptoms, then you and your central heating system will benefit from this type of water treatment:

  • Dirty system water
  • Cold spots
  • Poor circulation
  • Noisy systems
  • System blockages
  • Expensive bills

By using the 'Powerflush Machine' our qualified engineers will be able to clean out the contamination within your system, and in one operation with no mess or fuss, restore your installation to give your new boiler and system a fresh start.

Once the system has been cleaned, we will refill the heating circuit and an inhibitor (chemical) will be added to protect your system now and in the future.

Condensing Boilers

From 2005 the Building Regulations require that in virtually all new domestic boiler installations which use gas, condensing boilers will now be the only type permitted. This is in line with the government's commitment to reduce the UK's energy consumption and emissions of harmful green house gases such as carbon dioxide.

During the operation of condensing boilers, exhaust gases are expelled out of the flue; a condensing boiler is able to extract and use much of the heat from the gases before the flue gases discharge. This ability to extract more heat from the fuel it consumes makes it more efficient and also reduces emissions.

Around one quarter of Britain's carbon monoxide emissions originate every year from the energy we use to heat and light our homes.

It's because we burn fossil fuels (gas) to produce that energy. And over time the resulting waste gases do add to the effect of global warming. To a degree just changing an older style boiler to a new conventional or combination boiler (around 80% efficient) is a big step in the right direction, any boiler over 15 years old is inefficient (approximately 50% efficient), wasting natural resources and your money.

If you'd like to really reduce emissions and your gas bill then installing new 'High Efficiency Condensing Boilers' (around 91% efficient) would be the best way forward. Yes, it is a little more expensive initially, but you'll gain in the long term when you notice that your fuel bill has been reduced substantially. In some homes more than one third.

Underfloor heating systems for new builds

Why Underfloor heating

Utilising today's modern multilayer pipes, control systems and high efficiency boilers, the underfloor heating systems of today are extremely comfortable and controllable. The heat is more evenly distributed which reduces dust being circulated. The whole floor area of the house warms the air above, eliminating cold spots. The warm air convects from the floor surface losing approximately 2 degrees centigrade at 2.0 meters above the floor, which makes the system ideal for all ceiling heights.

Underfloor heating has made it possible to reduce energy consumption by using low water temperatures. These systems, based on the development of complex and very high quality plastic pipe, such as the multilayer pipe, now account for over 60% of some European heating markets

An Under floor Heating system can be fitted in both concrete floors, floating floors and timber suspended floors.
